David Rubin

David is a chartered accountant and licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He founded his own insolvency practice in 1984, and this was subsequently acquired by BTG Begbies Traynor in 2021.

During his career, David has concentrated almost exclusively on underperforming businesses and has become a well-recognised and respected figure in the restructuring industry. David enjoys the challenge of business rescue and his work often involves litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

David sits on the Council of INSOL Europe and is chairman of the Sponsorship Committee. He is a former council member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and INSOL International. He was Chairman of the R3 Education, Courses and Conferences Committee, as well as the Smaller Practice Groups for both R3 and INSOL International.
