Biography
Gerald is a qualified accountant and was one of the first licenced insolvency practitioners when the license was introduced in 1986. Throughout his varied career, Gerald has worked on numerous successful cases including Krasner v Dennison, for which he won in the Court Of Appeal and as a consequence changed the treatment of a bankrupts' pensions.
Gerald has lectured both nationally and internationally to fellow insolvency practitioners and other professionals, and has also been involved in committees for both R3 and Insol.
Gerald has spent over 15 years as a partner at BTG Begbies Traynor and continues his insolvency career as a consultant in the Newcastle office working with high profile cases across the country.
